about

Here's a collection that leans more into psychological introspection, personal doubts and ruminations, than expressions of love and relationships. Roughly the songs are about: self-doubt, identity confusion/duality dissonance, biological distribution of labor differences, maligned motivations for desire, the ironic, comparatively laughable 'pain' of the young, affluent, white blues music practitioner, intellectual banishment from deep and crucial truths (or the 'cap' on human understanding), the very evident lack of social, psychological, and philosophical development in the human race compared to our technological development (or: wisdom bringing up the rear), admission of one's subjective limitations, and finally the exhausted submission to larger, uncontrollable forces as a way of retaining hope - all in three chord structures and 4/4 time size bites!
