Vol 10 in the Kent Liverpool Archive Release Series. I had an active, performing band throughout 2009, playing in various clubs in the Los Angeles area. Near the holidays at the end of the year, we went into Mas Music Production in Highland Park and recorded a ten song set, together, live in the studio. 'Electric in the Heartland' documents this late night session. With just a few overdubs added, this was how it went down that night. One song, 'Between Cicero and Aurelius' has been left off, as it didn't pass muster.

These songs comprised about half of our live set; the others were older, or covers, or not quite of the sensibility we ultimately were striving for.

I hope you enjoy it. We had a lot of fun at the shows.
