about

'Frequency' is a spirited, somewhat angsty pop-collection with a taste of indie-pop about it. The playing is inspired and frenetic; the guitar - a Stratocaster played through a distinctive Fender Vibroverb amplifier throughout the program results in an appealing, cohesive sound, and the first rate playing by drummer Chris Arduser and bassists Matt Kendrick and Oni, as well as the raw, immediate sound captured by engineer Geoff Michael all add up to a bracing, engaging collection.

The album earned the featured breakout window 'Future Jackpot' spot in the influential College Music Journal (CMJ) the month of its release, in 1993.
