This is the last set of pop vocal music that I've recorded to date. Tracks 5, 6, 10 and 13 songs were written and recorded in 2011; Tracks 2 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 were written and recorded in 2016. All of them came to life in in Santa Monica, Ca, at my home studio, with the exception of the opening track, 'City of Refuge,' which was recorded in Nashville, TN, in 1992. I included 'City of Refuge' because its sensibility is close in feel to the 2011/2016 songs, and I think it makes for a great introduction to the set. Personally, I feel that this is my most cohesive folk-rock, singer-songwriter collection, with possibly my best, most insightful and honest set of lyrics. I hope that it speaks to you.
